Tyler, the Creator Releases First Fragrance French Waltz
Original Odd Future member Tyler, the Creator is more than just a rapper. The Grammy Award-Winning artist is also somewhat of a fashionista, with his label Golf Wang now going 10 years strong. Focusing mainly on colorful clothing along with footwear, jewelry, and accessories, his latest creation is a fragrance by the name of French Waltz.
Released as part of Gold Wang’s Golf le Fleur line, French Waltz is crafted by CPL Aromas and has been described as a “rose-musk fragrance for everyone.” The scent merges floral elements with a touch of sweetness, with sandalwood, mandarin, nashi pear, lychee, magnolia, and mimosa, jasmine, and rose infused together to create the musky scent.
While it might not be what fans expect, Tyler isn’t too concerned. In a recently deleted tweet, Tyler explained who the target audience for his new Golf le Fleur line was:
“and dis aint wang. my target isnt that demo or people who like my songs, this is its own thing and im treating it as that,” tweeted Tyler. “took a while, alot of time was put into it all. if ur in, amazing! if not, amazing! thats on you. i know this aint for everyone, it is what it is love.”
Arriving in a clear glass bottle with a green, flower-shaped top and emblazoned with the words Golf le Fleur and French Waltz, the fragrance comes in a neat, summery package that compares the aroma to “dozing off in the garden, using the sun as a towel to dry off the leftover beads of lake water.”
